Leading Cities is a global nonprofit that strengthens the conditions that allow proven innovation to move from intent to real-world adoption. We operate in the space where solutions most often stall — the transition from innovation to implementation. Municipalities face procurement risk. Innovators struggle to navigate public systems. 2. Source & Vet Innovation
Through our global ecosystem, we identify and screen high-potential solutions for credibility, responsibility, and fit within public systems.
This stage builds a trusted pipeline — reducing noise, surfacing strong solutions, and ensuring innovations are prepared for real-world environments before deployment is attempted. Solutions are vetted via our AcceliCITY accelerator program.
3. Building PPP Readiness
Before adoption is possible, cities and startups must be prepared to work together under real operational constraints. Through the Leading Cities Academy (LCA), we strengthen innovators’ ability to navigate public-sector environments while aligning expectations between municipalities and solution providers.
This stage ensures solutions are prepared for procurement realities, partnership structures, and delivery conditions before implementation is attempted.
4. Enable Innovation Adoption
Adoption occurs when validated solutions move into structured, real-world implementation. Through AcceliGOV, we match municipalities with vetted, deployment-ready innovations and support defined pilot engagements under real operational conditions.
This stage focuses on reducing institutional friction, generating credible evidence, and informing clear procurement or continuation decisions.
5. Enable Scale
Scale occurs when proven solutions remain connected to the networks that enable continued growth. Through LaunchPad 11, innovators stay engaged within an active ecosystem of municipalities, investors, partners, and peers beyond a single deployment.

As a global, world-class accelerator, innovators compete for catalytic prize funding while advancing through a structured validation process designed for real-world public-sector adoption.
AcceliGOV
AcceliGOV enables structured, low-risk implementation by matching municipalities with vetted, deployment-ready solutions. Projects operate under real operational conditions, generating defensible evidence that informs procurement and expansion decisions. This stage converts validation into measurable adoption signals.
LaunchPad 11
LaunchPad 11 is our virtual ecosystem connecting municipalities, startups, investors, and institutional partners in one active network. Through curated virtual events, city-specific sessions, solution showcases, and ongoing ecosystem matchmaking, LP11 brings the right actors together around defined challenges.
