Dosy Bikes
A female-first mobility platform
No-Cost Project Description
Dosy is a female centric scooter ride-hailing and training platform that empowers women with safe, sustainable, and independent mobility. Designed to address safety, cultural, and accessibility barriers, Dosy enables women to learn how to ride, travel confidently, and participate more fully in urban life while supporting cleaner, greener, and more inclusive transportation systems.
Through this no-cost, low-risk project, cities can expand access to micromobility for women, create new employment pathways, and promote low-emission travel. Dosy works with local female instructors to deliver community-based training sessions and provide a trusted platform where women can book rides and lessons with verified riders.
The 3 to 6 month engagement includes platform deployment, instructor onboarding, community outreach, and impact reporting. Communities can expect:
-
500 to 1,000 completed scooter or bicycle training sessions for women
-
Recruitment and income generation for 50 to 100 local female instructors
-
Access to Dosy’s booking and training platform with city-specific tracking
-
Community safety workshops and events focused on women’s mobility
-
Aggregated data and behavioral insights on women’s mobility patterns and barriers
-
Environmental impact projections, including reduced car use and emissions
Dosy provides full onboarding, technical support, and community engagement throughout the project. Cities are expected to provide access to safe training spaces, support local outreach through community or women’s organizations, and designate a primary point of contact for coordination. No new infrastructure or technology is required from the city. The project concludes with an impact report and closing presentation summarizing outcomes related to safety, inclusion, employment, and environmental benefits, with options to explore long-term expansion and citywide deployment.
